ALBERT HALL, London. A view of the hall from Hyde Park with horse-drawn carriages in the foreground. The concert hall opened in 1871 and was partly financed by a 999-year leasehold of over 1, 300 seats entitling the owner to attend up to 80 performances a year. Photographed by York and Son. Date range: 1871-1900.
